Java Software Engineer
What you will do:
As part of the Web & Interface Design Team, you'll lead front-end development and web content management for Edward Jones internal customers. Responsible for applying business and technical knowledge to ensure availability of our systems, and to provide quality solutions for business and enterprise software needs Be passionate about creating highly compelling content that enables both technical and non-technical users to be successful in their role Design (including program specification), develop, test, document and implement quality application software within targeted timeframes Documentation for program flows, interdependencies, and troubleshooting/escalation policies as well as standard team documentation Research and adopt newer and more modern methods of delivering content to users with greater effectiveness Train and mentor other developers to provide direction and ensure highest standards Maintains knowledge and guides team in best practices related to industry trends and technologies for front-end development and content management Develop and build relationships and gain confidence of stakeholders Works with leader to align on priorities, constructively address project work, and build personal development plans At Edward Jones, we value and respect our associates and their contributions, and we recognize individual efforts through a rewards program that promotes a long-term career, financial security and well-being. $109,459 What you'll needBachelor's degree, or degree in digital/graphic design, web development, or a related field preferred 3
years of experience as a front-end engineer/web developer or related field including strong front-end development required 3
years of experience as a web developer or related field including strong front-end development required 3
years of experience with HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, and advanced JavaScript Demonstrated proficiency with an enterprise Content Management System or computing platform required, preferably ServiceNow Ability to use CSS extensively to create custom and rich user interfaces is a must.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
